A modern research & development centre at the Wels site inAustria forms the global innovation centre for the TIGER Group. A highly qualified team of academics, engineers, technicians and laboratory staff convert new ideas into innovative products. Trainees, final year students and PHD students from Germany and abroad provide active support in this undertaking. Applications are always very welcome.

At TIGER, the development of high-tech powder coating systems starts back in the polyester resin synthesis stage. Custom-made binders allow the powder coatings to be adjusted perfectly to our customers’ requirements and create new opportunities, e.g. incorporating nanoparticles in powder coatings. Powder formulation, sample production and application-specific tests can be performed ultra-quickly in extremely well-equipped laboratories. Analysis using the very latest equipment is available to support the developers as they convert their ideas into reality.
